The Summit Bank Foundation's Annual Celebrity Golf Invitational is a day-long golf extravaganza featuring several local celebrities and sports stars as they team up with foursomes to celebrate and support the incredible impact the financial literacy program has brought to the Bay Area. Set on the beautiful greens of the Diablo Country Club, this Foundation event will be, once again, a day to remember.  Perhaps that's why so many of our celebrity participants have named it their "favorite celebrity golf tournament of the year!"

Everyone had a great time at the 2008 Red and White Ball.  With over 60 guests and celebrities, it was a night to remember.  A few pictures are displayed below.

Summit Bank Foundation Motivational and Inspirational Speaker Series time and dates to be announced.

Shirley Nelson has a vision to present role models to the youth in the Oakland community.  The youth would have an opportunity o listen and be close enough to touch and hear prominent, local speakers and their stories first hand.  The goal is to inspire and motivate them and develop the speaker series at local hight school venue to be linked to their academic curriculum.  The speakers that are being considered encompass successful role models in the fields of sports, politics, legal entertainment, authors and education.
